Description
Product Type: Ceftizoxime & Tazobactam Injection (For I.V. USE ONLY) Composition (Part A – Each vial Containing): Ceftizoxime Sodium (Sterile) IP eq. to anhydrous Ceftizoxime (3000 mg), Tazobactam Sodium (Sterile) IP eq. to anhydrous Tazobactam (375 mg). Part B: Water for Injections IP (20 ml). Pack also contains 20 ml sterile water for injection IP along with syringe & needle. Indication: Sub Clinical & Clinical mastitis.Dosage: 5 mg/kg B wt. I.V. & repeat within 96 hrs. in severe clinical mastitis case. Direction for Use: Reconstitute with Sterile water for injection IP for use. Prick the ampoule of sterile water for injection only once & discard the ampoule. The reconstitute solution should be used immediately and not to be stored. Withdrawal Period: 5 days for milk and eggs; 28 days for meat.
